Colorado-California trip – Day 6

Since we had done so much traveling over the past few days, I planned a day to stay in and around Boulder. I started it off with a nice hike along a local path to Twin Lakes Park. Unbeknownst to me, I took the wrong turn and never ended up by the lake, but still enjoyed the pleasant walk. Then Mike came over, and we played the two 9-hole disc golf courses just up the road in Longmont. When we got back to the house, Nance showed up, and the four of us went over to downtown Boulder, where we had a nice lunch at the Dushanbe Teahouse. We then did some shopping around and exploring the quaint downtown section before it was time to have dinner with the whole family. Afterwards, Nance, C-Lo and I went back over to Twin Lakes Park, but this time, I knew where to go, and we enjoyed some great sunset views over the lakes. Since this was our last night with my relatives, we said our goodbyes to my cousins and got packed for our long train ride the next morning.
