While on our trip to Hawaii last October, my friend C-Lo and I started discussing where we’d like to go on our next trip. We had been thinking about Alaska, but both decided to go someplace neither of us have been to yet, as I was in Alaska about 20 years ago. So we easily came upon the decision of Yellowstone Park. After some research, we realized that the best time to go is in September, and that is where we headed off to this week, as we both landed in Idaho Falls on Saturday afternoon.
I arrived about three hours earlier than her so I played a couple rounds of disc golf at the beautiful Freeman Park, where I also took a nice walk along the Snake River. After C-Lo got in, we headed to the historic section of Idaho Falls, where we had a delicious pork dinner at the SnakeBite Restaurant. We then drove the hour-and-a-half drive north to the resort in Island Park.
